Question: How well does this bath hold up to winter? Survive the cold okay?
Answer: We have just received our beautiful bird bath and have not experienced birds or winter yet.
Question: I'm confused by the measurements. 24" high? What's the 22"? 18" bowl diameter? I appreciate your help.
Answer: The top of the bath is 17 inches. The base is about 10 inches. The height is 24 inches with the bath on. Hope this helps.
Question: Is the bottom open and hollow so it can be used to put over a sewer pipe sticking out of ground?
Answer: The bottom is solid; however, I think hollow inside.
Question: How wide (diameter) is the hollow part of the base on the bottom (to ensure it fits over a sewer pipe)?
Answer: The base is fairly wide, but it does narrow as it goes up, so height of your pipe is important too. Mine is put away for the winter so I can't measure it for you.
