The varying nozzle size attachment should work for any style of balloon. It's not a portable unit. It has to sit on floor or table top and be plugged into an outlet. Some balloon artists seem to prefer to use something like a battery operated balloon hero pump in a portable shoulder pouch for mobility on site.

Question: Can you use this pump for foil balloons? Like the big 30 decorative balloons? Thank you!

Answer: Balloon designers advise against it because it can burst the balloon because of how fast the air flows, they recommend using the hand pump for foil balloons for more air control.. I guess u can use it if u have to, but I would just say use short quick bursts to have more control.
