Firstly, you need to turn on the handheld of the kitchen faucets in order for the sensor to activate to let water flow and the then you can choose hot or cold water.
What more, just wave your hand to the sensor if you want to use the faucets again.

Questions: How thick is the diameter of the arm? Some I saw are very thick and looks too clunky.
